As a Commercial Billing Manager at Last Mile Asset Management, you will oversee the gas, electricity, heat and water billing activities ensuring excellent customer service, managing staff, and supporting the significant annual growth in customers and revenue. This role requires a proactive leader with strong organisational and analytical skills and a passion for customer satisfaction.

Your responsibilities as a Commercial Billing Manager:
  • Gas and Electricity Billing: Ensure the completeness and accuracy of gas and electricity billing through robust internal control procedures and budgetary controls. Manage and supervise the Commercial team responsible for gas and electricity billing whilst ensuring all customers receive outstanding service within a framework of regulated guaranteed standards of service.
  • Water and Heat Household Customer Billing: Work alongside the Retail and Customer Service Team to ensure the completeness and accuracy of water and heat billing through robust internal control procedures and budgetary controls.
  • Non-Household Customer Billing: Manage and develop our in-house retail billing team to ensure that non-household customers are registered efficiently and are correctly billed.
  • Tariffs & Data Management: Oversee the collection, processing, and aggregation of data to support accurate multi-utility billing. Ensure retail and wholesale customer tariffs are correctly maintained, updated across systems and websites, and published annually in line with Ofwat licence conditions.
Experience / Knowledge:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a billing, financial or customer service environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
Qualifications:
  • A relevant business degree and or financial qualification is desirable.
