Job description

MCS Group is delighted to recruit on behalf of a fast-growing local manufacturing company, who is seeking a Commercial Bid Executive to join its Sales/Commercial team in Co. Antrim.

This is a key role focused on generating high-quality leads, quotations, and bid proposals for major clients in the transport and automotive sectors.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end proposal and tender processes, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

  • Prepare client packs, including quotations, presentations, and tender documents.
  • Interpret customer requirements and respond clearly in writing and verbally.
  • Use tender portals to submit structured, commercially sound proposals.
  • Estimate costs, liaise with suppliers, and draft deal sheets for stakeholder approval.
  • Maintain pricing records and compile commercial reports.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to meet tight deadlines.
  • Communicate directly with clients on commercial matters.
  • Support Sales and Commercial teams in developing compelling bid responses.
  • Organise internal records and assist with business reporting.
