Job summary

Republic Bank is seeking a Commercial Banking Officer to call on business banking clients for depository, lending, and fee-based opportunities in the Bank’s market. The role targets operating companies with $1M–$10M+ annual revenue and includes growth in C&I, CRE, and depository production.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. and no visa sponsorship is available at this time. A strong background in underwriting, SBA loan programs, and financial analysis is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years banking experience with at least 1 year of direct business lending experience.
• Proficient knowledge in underwriting business loans including CRE, AR, inventory, and equipment.
• Experience with working capital lines of credit and letters of credit.
• Experience with SBA loan programs and related processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and internet applications.

Responsibilities

• Sourcing and developing new business opportunities and documenting calls on prospects.
• Analyze client financials and understand income statements and balance sheets.
• Negotiate and structure loan terms and manage renewals.
• Identify depository opportunities in collaboration with Treasury Management.
• Monitor delinquencies and manage portfolio performance.
