Metro Bank is seeking a Commercial Banking Manager who will be responsible for managing risk and operational objectives while building client relationships. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent commercial banking knowledge, effective communication skills, and fluency in one or more additional languages. What you will do:
As a Commercial Banking Manager, you are accountable for delivering the Metro Bank brand and Business model for Commercial Banking by maintaining and growing the Commercial book.

What you will need:
• Understand the risks associated with your job and what that means for you, Metro Bank and all our stakeholders
• Excellent knowledge of Commercial Banking combined with strong product knowledge of Metro Bank’s commercial products and additional services
• Fluent in key language in addition to English, e.g. French, German, Italian Japanese, Dutch, Spanish
• Excellent communication and customer/client relationship management skills, specifically in providing exceptional customer service whilst explaining complex information clearly
• Excellent negotiation skills with an ability to interact and influence senior/executive management internally/externally
• Strong understanding of Financial Crime, AML, KYC requirements as well as TCF/conduct expectation
• Maintain up to date knowledge of internal regulatory requirements and be a subject matter expert in Enhanced Due Diligence requirements
• Confident decision maker that can take ownership and accountability of projects/tasks
