Job description

OVERVIEW - ABOUT THE ROLE.
We are looking for commercial audio-visual experts who have hands-on experience in planning and buying AV media campaigns.

The role is initially offered on an interim / fractional basis and may develop thereafter based on performance and developing opportunities within the company. We are flexible on how the role works, but see it as being initially offered on a part-time basis and may suit someone with a portfolio of roles, or an AV consultant or freelancer looking to play a role in a growing independent media agency.

FUNDAMENTALS.

Turning AV enquiries into business opportunities
We receive a number of leads each month, enquiring about television and radio advertising. A key part of this role is to assess which leads are of value and create practical proposals and advice to turn these opportunities into clients. You’d lead this process through to a signed booking form where relevant.

AV Supplier Liaison
We work with all the major TV and radio sales houses. When you have validated an AV business opportunity, we would refer to our standard rates or liaise with sales houses to finalise proposals or negotiate packages.

From Plan to Delivery
Once you have finalised the plans, you will be responsible for managing the campaign into live - managing the operational details of creative asset delivery, finalising schedules, Caria bookings, checking delivery and liaising with suppliers to optimise performance. You will also produce campaign reports with analysis and recommendations.

Account management
Based on the performance of campaigns, you will be responsible for developing the next wave of opportunities with the client.

Support on other media
Where possible, supporting on planning and buying in other media


The Package

ABOUT YOU.
Candidates will have hands-on experience of planning and buying AV media campaigns. Key attributes we are looking for include:


Commercial & Client facing - able to communicate clearly and persuasively to convert leads to sales.
Hands on - expert understanding of implementational AV buying marketing ecosystem.
Strategic – create AV plans that deliver on the client’s business goals in the brand and DRTV areas.
Good working knowledge of platforms - such as Adalyser/BARB, Caria.
Ensure all campaigns are delivered to plan and reporting – ability to create and present incisive reporting to articulate ad performance and next steps for clients.

Recipe Media is the media arm of Recipe Advertising Group. Recipe Media works with brands spending between £200k and £4 million a year – so typically challenger brands, scaleups and selected start-ups. FLEXIBLE WORKING.

We operate a “3+Core” hybrid working model here. 3 days in the office (whichever days suit you best); flexibility and understanding that sometimes it may be more or the days may need to differ (the ‘+’); and additional flexibility for those days when in the office through 11-4pm ‘core’ hours. We’re an agency that really believes in the power of being together but understands the need to balance this with flexibility and the benefits of hybrid working.
