Job Description:

We are working with a highly regarded Silver Circle law firm to recruit a Commercial Associate (3–6 years’ PQE). This opportunity offers exposure to a broad range of commercial and operational issues including commercial contracts, IP and brands, sport, outsourcing, data privacy, cybersecurity, and IT. The firm’s Commercial practice is recognized for its high-quality advice across sectors including financial services, technology, hospitality, and media.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drafting and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts, including supply agreements, distribution agreements, and sponsorship agreements.
  • Advising on IT and technology matters, such as software licenses, cloud-based solutions, and hardware/software procurement.
  • Providing counsel on intellectual property issues, including drafting and negotiating IP contracts and developing IP protection strategies.
  • Handling outsourcing agreements and advising on data privacy compliance, including GDPR.
  • Supporting corporate transactions through due diligence and drafting transitional services agreements.

Candidate Profile

  • Qualified lawyer with 3–6 years’ PQE in a recognized commercial, IT, or IP practice.
  • Strong academic background with a minimum 2:1 degree (or equivalent).
  • Excellent technical knowledge and the ability to deliver clear, commercial advice.
  • Experience in leadership roles and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong client relationships.
