Job summary

Last Mile Asset Management, a leading UK utilities business, is seeking a Commercial Assistant in Hamilton/Glasgow to support the commercial team with financial, contractual and administrative tasks across projects.

You will raise purchase orders, produce reports, manage trackers and assist with subcontract management and variations, leveraging Excel and MS Office to maintain accurate data and deliver monthly reporting.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
• Previous experience in a commercial or finance support role would be advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Raise purchase orders and work orders, maintain accurate commercial data and keep key databases up to date.
• Produce reports, manage commercial trackers and provide information to support monthly reporting.
• Support the commercial shared inbox, change control processes and the preparation of construction variations.
• Assist with subcontract management, including liabilities, accruals, applications for payment, approvals and payment notices.
• Support customer variation tracking, budget updates in the ERP system and wider commercial team activity as required.
