Job summary

A leading construction firm is seeking a Commercial Assistant to support the management of costs, assist with forecasting, and handle payments to subcontractors. The ideal candidate will have strong numerical and organisational skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office. This role requires the ability to work within multiple teams and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Commercial Manager and Contract Managers in the management of costs.
  • Assist the commercial team with forecasting and reporting.
  • Support the commercial team in paying subcontractors and raising invoices to the client.
  • Assist with raising orders to the supply chain and compiling subcontract agreements.
  • Support in negotiations with our supply chain.
  • Monitor and escalate any issues where required.
