A fast-growing renewables company in London is seeking an experienced professional to join their expanding Commercial Asset Management function. The ideal candidate should have over 3 years of experience in asset operations, preferably in solar, with strong analytical and communication skills. This role involves monitoring performance, delivering commercial analysis, and ensuring compliance across contracts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in asset operations, preferably in solar; BESS exposure is a plus.
• Background in Engineering, Finance, Economics or related disciplines.
• Familiarity with PPAs and commercial energy contracts.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Monitor commercial performance of a growing Solar & BESS portfolio.
• Deliver commercial analysis across daily/monthly/quarterly KPIs.
• Support reconciliation of actuals vs. budgets and cost/revenue tracking.
• Coordinate with external parties (DNOs, PPA providers, subsidy admins, optimisers).
• Manage invoicing and revenue flows in partnership with Finance.
• Ensure compliance across PPAs, optimisation and market-access agreements.
• Support budget planning and ongoing operational cost control.
• Conduct ad-hoc market impact and pricing analysis.

They are on track to scale beyond 1.2 GWp operational assets in the next year, with a significant portfolio already operational.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor commercial performance of a growing Solar & BESS portfolio

Deliver commercial analysis across daily/monthly/quarterly KPIs

Support reconciliation of actuals vs. budgets and cost/revenue tracking

Coordinate with external parties (DNOs, PPA providers, subsidy admins, optimisers)
