Our client, an award-winning consultancy in the Environmental sector, is actively recruiting for a Lead Commercial Asbestos Surveyor to join their closely-knit team at their Essex office.

With over 20 years of trading experience and specialising in the Environmental market, particularly Asbestos, they are known as a nationally recognised training provider and a quality-driven consultancy that values staff and client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience as an Asbestos Surveyor, be familiar with Management/R&D type Asbestos Surveying in commercial and industrial buildings, be proficient with IT and hand-held tablets, and possess strong communication skills. A full UK driving license and the ability to travel across Essex and neighbouring counties are required.

In this role, you will conduct Management/R&D type, HSG:264 guided Asbestos Surveys on various projects including Commercial, Retail, Healthcare, Education, and Industrial sites, visiting client sites directly. You will also prepare reports, submit relevant plans, and handle bulk samples as directed.

Commutable locations include: Colchester, Southend-On-Sea, Milton Keynes, Bedford, Watford, Grays, Brentwood, Basildon, Enfield, Stratford, Harlow, London, Edgware, and Cheshunt.
