Job summary

Miele Professional is seeking a Field Service Technician to service and repair a wide range of commercial appliances across multiple customer environments. You will work across the Falkirk area, with occasional travel outside the local region, including overnight stays and possible out-of-hours work.

Qualifications

• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills for professional electrical and gas appliances.
• Experience in field service or technical customer support with high service standards.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills; able to manage workload and build relationships.
• Willingness to travel across Falkirk area, with possible overnight stays and out-of-hours work.
• Proactive learning mindset with ongoing product knowledge updates.

Responsibilities

• Carry out fault diagnostics, servicing, maintenance and repairs on professional laundry and washer disinfector appliances to a high technical standard.
• Install and decommission professional appliances in commercial and medical environments per safety regulations.
• Deliver an exceptional service experience while representing the Miele brand.
• Maintain clear communication with planners and service partners to support efficient delivery.
• Maintain van stock, spare parts control and daily administration to support first-time fix rates.
• Promote Miele care products, accessories, service contracts and maintenance solutions.

As a Field Service Technician at Miele Professional, you will service and repair a wide range of commercial appliances across multiple customer environments, including industrial laundries, laboratories,hospitalsand medical facilities. From industrial washing machines and tumble dryers to specialist laboratory equipment washers, every day offers something different.

Your Responsibilities

• In close collaboration with customers and internal departments, carry out fault diagnostics, servicing, maintenance and repairs on professional laundry and washer disinfector appliances to a high technical standard

• In line with health, safety and gas safe regulations, complete the installation and decommissioning of professional appliances across commercial and medical environments

• Through every customer interaction, contribute to an exceptional service experience whilealwaysrepresentingthe Miele brand professionally

• In partnership with planners, managers and service partners,maintainclear communication to support efficient service delivery and resolve technical issues effectively

• Bymaintainingaccuratevan stock, spare parts control and daily administration, support strong first-time fix rates and operational efficiency

• Through customer engagement and product knowledge, promote Miele care products, accessories, servicecontractsand planned maintenance solutions

• By activelyparticipatingin technical training and development,maintainup-to-date knowledge of Miele products, systems and diagnostic processes while working towards performance targets and key performance indicators

What We Are Looking For

• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills, including the ability to repair andmaintainprofessional electrical and gas appliances using relevant test equipment

• Proven experience working within a field service or technical customer service environment while deliveringhigh standardsof customer support

• Sound technical knowledge of UK power supplies, wiring components and appliance systems, with the ability toidentifyand resolve technical issues effectively

• Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage workload independently and build positive customer relationships

• A proactive approach to learning and development, includingmaintainingup-to-date product knowledge and completing technical training programmes
