Tozers LLP is a leading Exeter-based law firm seeking a Commercial and Data Protection Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (4+ PQE) to join the Company & Commercial team. You will handle commercial contracts and data protection work, with exposure to IP/IT topics, and support partners on complex matters.

Initially office-based in Exeter with flexible training and collaboration. The role offers a supportive environment focused on professional development and client service excellence.

Qualifications

• 4+ years PQE as Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with experience in commercial work.
• Expertise in Data Protection and drafting/negotiating IT contracts is essential.
• Experience with commercial contract management and procurement is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Undertake all aspects of commercial contract and data protection work.
• Assist partners and senior lawyers with matters, and manage own caseload.
• Work flexibly with the team, occasionally in the Exeter office, and contribute to BD plans.

Ideally you would also have experience in connected legal areas such as intellectual property and information technology.
