We are looking for a Commercial Analyst to join a fast-paced, global shipping and maritime services company specialising in commercial management, fuel procurement, and digital market intelligence. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a global business environment, gaining exposure to commercial shipping, market analysis, and business strategy.

About the Role:

As a Commercial Analyst, you will support commercial and operational teams by providing key market insights, analysing vessel performance, and assisting in strategic decision-making. The role involves working closely with senior management, developing forecasts, and helping to improve internal reporting systems. It is imperative that you are an analytically-minded individual.

  4. Work closely with teams across the business to resolve queries.
  5. Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and dashboards for internal and external use.
  6. Gain hands-on experience with tools such as Excel, SQL, and Business Intelligence software.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • A 2:1 degree with strong analytical components OR
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an analytical or shipping-related role.

Skills:

  • Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Experience with Power BI, SQL, or Python is a preference but not essential.
