Job Description:

JOB TITLE: Commercial Administrator

JOB TYPE: Temp to permanent

JOB LOCATION: Peterborough

JOB HOURS: 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday with 1 hour for lunch

JOB WORKING: 100% office-based, no working from home

JOB SALARY: Up to £30k depending on relevant experience

JOB START DATE: Before the end of April 2025

Hays is proud to work exclusively with this company. Many temps placed here have transitioned to permanent roles. This is a newly created position, starting as a temp with potential for permanent employment by the end of summer.

Your new role

Your responsibilities include handling admin tasks for the commercial team to allow them to focus on technical work. Tasks involve entering orders into Sage, updating and closing orders, adding new delivery sites, and performing basic cost calculations using Excel. You may also take meeting notes, cover reception, and support other admin duties as needed.

The role is based in their offices, Monday to Friday, with a one-hour lunch break. Parking is available onsite; public transport access is limited.

Requirements

Experience in production, commercial admin, or construction sectors is advantageous. Proficiency in Sage, Word, and Excel is preferred and should be highlighted on your CV. The ability to work independently and good communication skills are essential.
