About The Role

The Role:

Handling customer inquiries, and feedback.

Liaising with clients & customers to understand their needs and assist with sales.

Assisting the commercial department undertaking costing exercises for new and existing business across Transport, Warehousing & Customs.

Commercial administration duties including project control, updating customer databases and record keeping.

Conducting market research to gather information on competitors, trends, and industry news.

Assisting in the identification of potential business opportunities and customer leads.

Managing and maintaining sales databases and sales progress reporting.

Provide support and assist in other departmental activities as required.

Criteria:

Minimum of GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English, preferably with a business administration qualification.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of numeracy.

Excellent Computer Literacy with experience of using Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.

The creation and maintenance of spread sheets to record manipulate and present information.

Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, project teams, and existing and new clients.

Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.

Must be confident, resourceful, highly organised and be able to work on own initiative.

Terms:

Full Time Permanent Role.

General Office Hours 8.00am – 5.00pm (1 hour Lunch break)
