Commercial Accountant (3 days per week)

Location: Cookstown

Salary: £45-55k FTE depending on experience

We are working exclusively with a key client in Cookstown who is looking for a commercial accountant to join their finance team. This critical role will report to the FC and work closely with the operations and sales teams to ensure revenue is recognized and KPI reports on sales are developed and prepared. We are particularly keen to hear from individuals who understand the key areas that drive a successful business and who have experience in a high-volume environment.

Key skills:

• Strong analytical skills including Management Accounts, KPI analysis, and an inquisitive, commercial outlook
• Strong IT skills, including above-average proficiency in Excel
• Experience in Warehouse and distribution sectors within FMCG, capable of adding value to KPIs and information capture for the business

• Qualification is flexible; candidates with experience working analytically in a commercial environment are encouraged to apply
• Qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience, with experience in FMCG, wholesale distribution, or manufacturing
• Experience working in a company with multiple moving parts and oversight of sales operations
• Ability to work independently to streamline processes and add value to the department
