Job description

Infopro Digital Group are recruiting for a talented and motivated Commercial Accountant to join our team on a permanent basis at Haynes Group Limited, who sit within Infopro Digital's Automotive division. Infopro is a global organisation with 4,000 employees based in 18 Countries and a turnover of ₠550 million.

This job is located in our office in Sparkford, Somerset. It is anticipated that, after a short period of training, the role can be completed on a hybrid working basis. This is a permanent full-time role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Overall responsibility for AUKUS (Asia-Pacific, UK & US) - Professional finance functions to include:

  • Oversight of monthly management accounts & sales reporting across the AUKUS territory, ensuring they are delivered within group deadlines
  • Oversight of the Finance Team: Management Accountant (OATS), AUKUS Assistant Accountant, UK Sales Ledger Clerk and Management Accountant (Haynes Australia)
  • Member of AUKUS Senior Management Team, to include attendance at monthly management team meetings (UK travel required)
  • AUKUS revenue & P&L reporting
  • Assisting territory General Manager's & AUKUS Managing Director with annual budget & re-forecast process
  • Ownership of forecast numbers and variance reporting (performance against budget including in-month forecast revenue position)
  • Routine and ad-hoc support for AUKUS and wider IPDA Group business leaders
  • Sales KPI reporting to Group Sales Controller
  • Monitoring of cash collection cycles across the AUKUS territory
Requirements

All necessary background research, preparation of schedules, liaison with internal colleagues and external advisers to enable the satisfactory completion of the above job responsibilities. To include:
  • Qualified - ACA/ACCA/CIMA (compulsory)
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Team player and willingness for 'hands-on' approach
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy of outputs
  • Keen to add value and identify opportunities for improvement
  • The need to identify and respect confidential information
  • Experience in a commercial finance role preferable
  • Ability to work flexible hours at times due to time-zones across the AUKUS territory
