Location: Alloa / Hybrid

The Opportunity -This role acts as a crucial link between senior management, finance operations, and business leaders. You’ll be embedded in the heart of commercial decision-making and strategic planning, supporting new ventures including green energy initiatives and infrastructure development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver robust financial planning & analysis, including budgets, forecasts, KPIs, and modelling.

  • Partner with operational teams to manage and challenge budgets.

  • Provide commercial insight and support new business projects such as hydrogen and EV initiatives.

  • Contribute to corporate activity including acquisitions, restructuring, and entity setup.

  • Engage in vendor contract management and due diligence processes.

  • Build strong relationships with budget holders and provide finance support to non-finance stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) – part-qualified or QBE candidates also considered.

  • Proven experience in FP&A, commercial finance, and business partnering.

  • Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities.

  • Excellent Excel skills and financial systems proficiency.

  • Effective communicator with the ability to influence across functions.

  • Sector experience in energy or construction is advantageous.
