Join our team at Filton, a leading hub for aerospace innovation and manufacturing. As a Commercial Account Manager, you'll be at the heart of customer collaboration, ensuring smooth operations, strong partnerships, and alignment between business objectives and customer needs.

This role is all about communication, problem-solving, and strategic thinking. You’ll oversee contracts, facilitate cross-functional teamwork, and navigate challenges to maintain seamless operations. Working in a dynamic, high-tech environment, you’ll play a key role in driving efficiency and supporting the success of our aerospace programs. How You'll Contribute
  • Customer Relationship Management – Lead site-specific customer meetings, resolve first-line disputes, and champion the customer’s voice.
  • Demand & Order Management – Align customer demand with business operations, ensuring smooth order execution.
  • Contract & Commercial Management – Oversee contractual obligations, cash management, and compliance while managing commercial risks and opportunities.
  • Change Management – Implement contract updates and manage minor modification claims.
  • Financial & Business Modelling – Support pricing strategies, bid proposals, and commercial planning.

Essential:

  • Customer Champion – A proven track record in customer relationship management, contract negotiation, and demand forecasting, ensuring seamless communication and business success.
  • Master Negotiator – Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • Powerful Communicator – Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships, resolve conflicts, and clearly articulate business needs.
  • Financially Savvy – Sharp analytical skills to interpret financial data, manage P&L, and support budgeting decisions that drive profitability.
  • Strategic Thinker – Experience crafting compelling commercial proposals and business models that support sustainable growth.

Desirable:

  • A qualification in Business Studies is a plus, but if you have hands-on experience in a customer-facing or programme management role, we’d love to hear from you! Your ability to navigate commercial landscapes and drive customer success is what truly matters.
