GetRecruited UK Ltd in Wakefield is recruiting a Commercial Account Handler to join a growing, independently owned broker. You will support a senior broker to service a substantial mid-market book and manage a diverse range of commercial risks.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in commercial account handling.
• Broad knowledge across commercial lines.
• Comfortable working on larger, more complex risks.
• Well organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities.
• Strong communicator who builds trust with clients and colleagues alike.
• CII qualifications beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support a senior broker in day-to-day management of a £500,000 income mid-market book.
• Handling renewals, MTAs and client queries across a broad range of commercial classes.
• Liaising with insurers to obtain terms, negotiate cover and confirm placements.
• Maintaining accurate client records and ensuring a consistently high standard of service.
• Building strong working relationships with clients and insurer partners.
• Contributing to a close-knit, ambitious team where ideas are welcomed and service genuinely matters.
