I am currently working with a well-established commercial insurance brokerage looking to add a talented Account Handler to their Birmingham office. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with solid commercial insurance experience who wants to step up into a role with more responsibility and the chance to support a growing book of business.
You'll be supporting an ambitious Account Executive who has a modest but expanding portfolio of clients, handling premiums up to around £50,000. The focus is on renewals and day-to-day client management, with plenty of exposure to new business opportunities as well. While primarily desk-based, there will be occasions to attend client meetings alongside the AE, giving you some client-facing experience.
The team is friendly, professional, and focused on collaboration. You'll be sitting next to a driven AE, who is eager to grow their client portfolio, so this is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping colleagues develop their book.
