We are actively looking for a Commercial Account Handler to join our Howden Consumer & Local Commercial team. Our local Commercial team has grown rapidly over the last 14 years, and we now have over 200 people within the team across the UK. In this role, you will be responsible for building rapport with new and existing clients, who could range from sole traders to the MD/CEO of large organizations, working closely with the Branch Manager to achieve objectives.

About You

• You will have strong attention to detail, reviewing client documentation to ensure information is comprehensive and accurate to support the quoting process.
• You must have the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and external contacts to ensure expectations and compliance standards are met.
• You will assist the Commercial Account Executives in achieving high renewal retention levels, exceeding customer expectations, and meeting FCA requirements.

• You have the ability to process data promptly and accurately on relevant systems to support high levels of client service, internal process execution, and informed analysis.
