Join the team as our next Commercial Account Executive for Segment Sales, Twilio's Customer Data Platform arm.

About the job

This is a sales role focused on selling Segment’s Customer Data Platform into an $80Bn TAM. The role mainly involves landing & expanding new logos by leading the full sales cycle for Segment. It is a key initiative for the business, focusing on our Commercial territory in France across various verticals.

Responsibilities
  • Build upon the growth & adoption of Segment’s commercial clients, up to 2000 employees.
  • Lead compelling presentations of Segment’s product and vision to a broad range of audiences, from c-level executives to individual contributors.
  • Develop expansion opportunities within existing customer accounts and acquire new target accounts.
  • Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts, maintaining clear visibility on pipeline, sales, and revenue performance.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales Development, Legal, Engineering, Security, Marketing, Product) to navigate complex sales cycles efficiently.
  • Engage in team development and mentoring.

Required:

  • 4+ years of experience in a closing role at a SaaS provider, with a record of top performance.
  • Experience selling complex SaaS solutions, navigating organizational complexities, and building value with both business and technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in team selling environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in an evolving work environment.
  • Strong dedication to success and career development.
  • Intellectual curiosity and high ambition.
  • Experience selling to mid-market clients.
  • Cross-selling experience in IT, Marketing, Data, Analytics, and Engineering.
  • Business value selling experience.
  • Knowledge of MEDDIC, Command of the Message, and Challenger methodologies.

Location

This role is remote but must be based in the United Kingdom.

Travel

Travel may be required up to 25% for team meetings, events, and client visits.
