Job summary

Aston Charles Ltd in Halifax, West Yorkshire, is recruiting an Account Executive to join a long-standing insurance team, inheriting a broad existing portfolio across SME to mid-market risks. You will manage an established book with potential for organic growth and some new business, supported by telesales and marketing resources.

We expect solid grounding in commercial broking and knowledge of Property, Liability, PI, D&O, and Fleets.

Qualifications

• Solid grounding in commercial broking including Property, Liability, PI, D&O, Fleets.
• Experience as an Account Executive or broker/account handler moving to complex accounts would be ideal.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Willingness to grow accounts organically or through some new business, with telesales/marketing support available.

Responsibilities

• Inherit an existing portfolio of accounts and manage it effectively.
• Focus on managing existing business with realistic growth potential.
• Grow the book either organically or with some new business activity.
• Coordinate with telesales and marketing support as needed.
