Job summary

A prominent recruitment agency is seeking a Commercial Account Executive to manage and grow existing commercial business accounts. Candidates should have at least five years of experience in commercial insurance and be adept at client management. A basic salary of £40-70k is offered alongside a company car or allowance and a 20% bonus based on performance. The role includes additional benefits such as 25 days holiday and a company pension plan.

Job description

We are currently recruiting for a well-known brand of an ambitious broking group, who now seek to appoint several new Commercial Account Executives, to come on board to take over and manage existing books of commercial business, with the remit to both retain and grow these.

The books of business here are made up of mid market to large commercial clients, with a range of commercial risks, and this would be the area you would be tasked with finding and winning new clients in too.

Full Account Handling support will also be provided, with a team of very experienced Handlers.

In order to be considered for this role, you will need to have at least five years commercial insurance experience in a similar role, ideally being at least Cert CII qualified (though this part is not essential). You will also need to be confident in dealing with an existing bank of clients as well as incoming new business enquiries, and confident in dealing with all major classes of commercial insurance property, business interruption, liabilities, professional indemnity, etc. Experience of using Acturis would also be a bonus.

On offer is a basic salary of £40-70k + Company Car or Car allowance and 20% bonus on anything above monthly premium targets. they also offer 25 days holiday + BH, company pension, PMI and death in service

Office hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, with 4 days in the office and 1 from home.
