Zusammenfassung

Thrive Personnel is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join the Building Services team. The role covers installation, servicing and fault finding of commercial air conditioning and heat pump systems across the UK, reporting to the Project Manager.

You will work with Mitsubishi Electric and Daikin equipment, handle commissioning of VRF/VRV systems, and ensure work meets high safety and quality standards. Travel nationwide and a focus on professional service are required.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience installing, servicing and fault finding commercial AC and heat pump systems.
• Experience with Mitsubishi Electric and Daikin equipment.
• Ability to commission VRF/VRV systems and interpret drawings, wiring diagrams and fault codes.
• Strong understanding of health and safety, permits, risk assessments and method statements.
• Capable of completing accurate service documentation and reports.

Aufgaben

• Install, service, maintain and fault-find commercial AC and heat pump systems.
• Carry out brazing, pressure testing, evacuation and leak detection.
• Commission systems per project specs using manufacturer guidelines and diagnostic tools.
• Complete service reports, commissioning records and F‑Gas documentation.
• Coordinate with project teams, clients and subcontractors to minimise disruption.
• Ensure work complies with health and safety legislation and company procedures.
• Provide clear operational guidance during handovers and client demonstrations.
• Travel nationwide as required and manage workload effectively.
