Condé Nast is an equal opportunity employer. We evaluate qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, veteran status, age, familial status and other legally protected characteristics. The Role

To be successful in this role you must be highly commercial and numerate. You are likely to have had operational experience of working for an eCommerce business. Ideally you will also have experience of affiliate marketing - preferably from a publisher's perspective. You have a good understanding of the drivers and levels that impact the conversion funnel, as well as margin management and a deep knowledge of affiliate KPIs. We work at an electric pace, and with 24 highly active Commerce brands across 5 markets - your ability to mutli-task will be a critical success factor in this role.

What will you be doing?

  • The creation of intuitive self-serving full metric dashboards and data visualisation for our Commerce and SEO team
  • Identify trends and opportunities to support audience strategy
  • Provide ongoing monetisation analysis to grow EPC. Create modelling that enables EPC optimisation through category classification, commissions, network, GMV, AOV, etc
  • Help develop our content syndication strategy, making recommendations through performance analysis
  • Support our SEO Analyst to help determine our evolving and rapidly moving traffic landscape - to ensure we are growing our UVs and PVs
  • Support our Partner Sales and Commercial Teams with data and insight packs to facilitate client sales pitches
  • Provide management performance analysis - to include for example article production output per FTE
  • Lead performance meetings across European markets (and our Global team) to share insight, learnings and new opportunities
  • Provide Revenue reports, including end of month submissions - and oversee all tracking
  • Lead all forecasting, including collaborating with our Country leads, who own their respective market P&Ls
Who you are:

  • You are analytic, inquisitive and have a huge thirst for data
  • You are of course naturally numerate and advanced in Excel/Google Sheets - and therefore you probably have a degree in Maths, Computer Science, Economics, or in a similar field
  • Should you have experience or knowledge of other key analytical tools and systems (SQL, Python, Business Objects, Tableau, etc) that would be beneficial, but not essential
  • You have the ability to identify trends and analysis through reading data, but equally can support your analysis with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • You have an inclination for problem-solving and are a strong communicator, who can explain trend analysis and potentially complicated data analysis both verbally and by means of a written report
  • You are highly collaborative and recognise that you will be ultimately only be successful by working as a team - both in terms of your direct team colleagues and cross-functionally across the business
