South Lanarkshire Council is seeking a part-time cleaner for the First Steps Community Nursery in Hamilton. The role covers cleaning floors, furniture, fittings and sanitary areas to required standards.
The successful candidate will monitor cleaning standards, report issues to management and assist with setting up rooms for lets, acting as the on-site responsible person for reporting health and safety matters. This temporary post runs until June 2027.

Hours: 15 hours per week
Work Pattern: Monday - Friday 6am - 9am
Salary: £11,043 - £11,160 annual salary

The successful candidate will carry out the cleaning function on floors, furniture, fixtures, fittings, sanitary areas, walls etc. You will also be required to monitor standards of cleaning in line with specification/COSHH regulation, reporting any difficult issues to management.
You will be responsible for setting up rooms for lets and being the responsible person on site for reporting health and safety issues.
Preferred candidates identified after theselection eventprocess will be required to assist the recruitment team, if need be, toensure timely completion of recruitment checks. If recruitment checks are not completed within a reasonable timescale, you may automatically be withdrawn from this position.
