A leading company is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor for a permanent position at Duncanrig Secondary School in East Kilbride. The role involves a mix of cleaning and supervisory tasks, ensuring compliance with cleaning standards and health and safety regulations. Candidates must have experience in similar roles and will need to undergo checks due to the regulated nature of the position.
Permanent Post.
Location: Duncanrig Secondary School, Winnipeg Drive, East Kilbride, G75 8ZT
Hours: 15 hours per week on a term-time basis (You will carry out supervisor role 7.5 hours of the week and cleaner role 7.5 hours of the week).
Work Pattern: Monday - Friday.
Salary: £12.82 per hour (cleaner rate) and £13.12 - £13.26 per hour (supervisor rate).
The successful candidate will carry out cleaning functions on floors, furniture, fixtures, fittings, sanitary areas, walls, etc. You will also monitor cleaning standards in line with specifications and COSHH regulations, reporting any issues to management.
You will be responsible for setting up rooms for lets and reporting health and safety issues on site.
Supervision of a team of Facility Assistants (Cleaning), including training, recruitment, maximising attendance, and team briefings.
Ensure the security of the building and act as a key-holder as required.
