Job summary

Woodlands Home & Garden Group is seeking an experienced Combi Lift Driver / Side Loader Driver to join our Bradford team. The role focuses on moving materials and finished goods safely and efficiently within a busy warehouse environment.

You will operate Combi Lift and Side Loader equipment, load/unload timber and components, and maintain stock records while supporting continuous improvement across operations. The start date is ASAP and the contract is permanent and full-time.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a Combi Lift and/or Side Loader is essential.
• Current Combi Lift or Side Loader licence is essential.
• Reliable, punctual and takes responsibility for their work.
• Safety and quality come first.
• Able to work at pace in a busy manufacturing environment.
• Organised with attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Willing to support other warehouse activities when required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Combi Lift, Side Loader and other material-handling equipment safely.
• Load and unload timber, components and finished products.
• Book deliveries and perform quality checks on incoming goods.
• Maintain accurate stock records through daily/weekly counts.
• Pick materials for production and ensure manufacturing teams receive what they need.
• Process returned goods and store stock correctly.
• Maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment.
• Support continuous improvement across warehouse operations.

Location: Thornbury Industrial Estate, Bradford, BD3 7AF

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5:00pm, Friday 7.30am to 4:00pm

Pay: Competitive salary, negotiable depending on experience, with overtime opportunities

Contract: Permanent, full-time

We manufacture and supply timber garden buildings, log cabins, modular buildings, windows and doors to customers across the UK.

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced and safety-conscious Combi Lift Driver / Side Loader Driver to join our team at Thornbury Industrial Estate in Bradford.

You will play a key role in ensuring materials and finished products are moved safely, efficiently and accurately throughout our operation.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Operating a Combi Lift, Side Loader and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading timber, components and finished products
• Booking in deliveries and completing quality checks on incoming goods
• Maintaining accurate stock records through daily and weekly stock counts
• Picking materials for production and ensuring manufacturing teams receive what they need
• Processing returned goods and ensuring stock is stored correctly
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment
• Supporting continuous improvement across warehouse operations

What We Are Looking For

• Has previous experience operating a Combi Lift and/or Side Loader - essential
• Holds a current Combi Lift or Side Loader licence - essential
• Is reliable, punctual and takes responsibility for their work
• Always puts safety and quality first
• Is comfortable working at pace in a busy manufacturing environment
• Is organised and pays close attention to detail
• Communicates clearly and works well as part of a team
• Is flexible and willing to support other warehouse activities when required
• Has previous experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment - desirable
