Salary: Up to £51,500 (dependent on skills and experience) – 12-month FTC

Engineers at all levels should possess an academic qualification in Engineering or other related STEM subjects as well as specific (either academic or professional) qualifications and become recognised as Incorporated or Chartered Engineers through an appropriate recognised professional institution. Engineers are encouraged, and will be supported, to achieve the relevant accreditation. Preference will be given to candidates who are already professionally registered.
The Combat Systems team:
The Canadian River Class Destroyer (RCD) is one of the Global Combat Ship (GCS) designs based on the UK Navy’s Type 26. The RCD is incorporating Combat Systems from around the world, including the US AEGIS system. As part of the team, you will have the opportunity to shape the design of this destroyer whilst developing and enhancing your skills and knowledge. The role involves displaying good influencing skills within a multi-disciplinary team environment and showing flexibility in the approach to required tasks, whilst maintaining key behaviours.
