Salary: Combat Stress Consultant Psychiatrist salary scale

Hours: Part time – 18.75 hours per week. Hybrid working available. (Monday to Friday – working pattern to be agreed to suit all parties, however Tuesday must be a working day in attendance at the Hub).

Based at our Belfast Hub in Northern Ireland, with occasional additional remote support to Hubs in England.

About us:

Combat Stress is the UK’s leading mental health charity for veterans. For over a century we’ve been helping former service personnel deal with issues like post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety and depression. Today we provide specialist treatment and support for veterans from every service and conflict, focusing on those with complex mental health issues related to their military service. We provide a range of community, outpatient and residential mental health services to veterans with complex mental health problems. We provide service in-person and online.

About the role:

The post holder will work in the Northern Ireland hub providing psychiatric leadership across the service. You will provide senior clinical and psychiatric expertise to the multidisciplinary team contributing to the assessment, diagnosis and recommendations for treatment for veterans on both a residential and outpatient basis.

This role will be subject to an Access NI check.
