Job summary

Our client, a market leading manufacturing company, is recruiting a Colour Matcher in Heywood, Greater Manchester. The role is permanent, full-time, Monday to Friday, with a salary of £30,000 to £33,000 (DOE) plus bonus, pension, healthcare, holidays and overtime.

You will provide colour matching to customer requirements, maintain equipment, and adhere to Health & Safety and security requirements. Basic maths and English, team-oriented, and proficient with Word and Excel are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experienced Colour Matcher with strong practical skills.
• Ink manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow a schedule.
• Basic qualification in Maths and English is required.
• Competence with Word and Excel is expected.
• Knowledge of 7S principles is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Providing colour matching to customer requirements.
• Maintaining, ordering and retrieving necessary equipment, parts, supplies.

Overview

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Market Leading manufacturing company seeking to bring a Colour Matcher on board. Supplying to countries around the world, the opportunity to work for this Global Company offers great security and stability within this uncertain economic climate.

Role Description

• Providing colour matching to customer’s requirements
• Maintaining, ordering and retrieving necessary equipment, parts, supplies
• Hygiene and Health & Safety standards, ensuring all areas meet standards of excellence.
• Adhering to all customer rules, especially Health and Safety and Security requirements

Skills and Qualifications

• Experienced Colour Matcher
• Previous experience of working within ink manufacturing industry is preferred
• Working together in a team
• Working to a schedule
• Basic qualification in Math’s and English is required
• Computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Strong knowledge of 7S and able to work cleanly
