An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Operating Theatre Department to recruit a Theatre Practitioner to join our fantastic colorectal Team based at the NCH Campus. You should be a highly motivated, innovative and progressive individual committed to the development of yourself, your team and our changing services.
Our expectations are to deliver a high standard of service with patient safety and quality as our main priority. You should be able to demonstrate effective team working and work to the highest standards of evidence based practice.
We practice multi-skilling and are looking to recruit a dynamic Practitioner who wishes to develop their practice in anaesthetic and surgical scrub support. Anaesthetic skills are desirable - or a willingness to undertake anaesthetic training.
You should have a flexible attitude to work and be able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
All persons appointed to the post are required to hold registration with their appropriate professional regulatory body and to comply with their professional code of conduct. Evidence of on-going registration will be required.
You will be joining a pro-active, dynamic team of Nurses, ODPs and TSWs who offer the best standards of perioperative care for our colorectal patients. Every day is different, with rewarding experiences and challenges alike. We pride ourselves on team work, learning and being forward thinking.

The successful applicant will require to work 37.5hr across the colorectal Speciality. We work in the new Robin Hood theatres and offer a dynamic and revolutionary Robotic Surgery Service.
