Main duties of the job

You will join a general surgical department which includes Colorectal, Upper-GI, Breast and Vascular Services. The Colorectal Surgical Team has nine Consultants (eight whole-time equivalents). The successful applicant will provide colorectal and general surgical services in theatre, outpatient and ward settings.

Minimally invasive surgery is well established within the colorectal team including transanal microsurgery (TEM) and robotic-assisted colorectal surgery.
