A leading company in education is seeking enthusiastic teaching assistants to support young people with special needs in an outstanding specialist college. The role involves working in small groups, promoting independence, and encouraging sensory-based learning. This is a yearlong placement with competitive pay and opportunities for training.
Protocol Education are currently recruiting teaching assistants who are looking to move into education and work in an outstanding specialist college to start immediately or from September 2025. This college are looking for enthusiastic and outgoing people who are comfortable working with special needs and keen to apply their skills in an educational setting. As a teaching assistant, you will be supporting young people aged from 16 - 25 years old with special needs in small groups or on a one-to-one basis, assisting in vocational courses, supporting students in the community, developing independence and helping learners with employability. In addition, you will be developing learner's numeracy, literacy and delivering creative sessions such as cooking, music, and art.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
