Job description

We are proud of our partnership with Wirral Metropolitan College. We have worked with them for many years and they are a warm and friendly team who support people starting their journey in education.

Most of our temporary staff end up as permanent staff members at the college and many go into teaching at the college.

This role starts in September.

No education-specific care experience is necessary we're looking for individuals with a care background and the right attitude, calmness, patience, and a supportive nature to help students thrive in their learning environment.
We can offer roles between 2 and 5 days per week in Birkenhead. Often you will start on 3-4 days per week and increase that when you have shown reliability.

• Caring for students 1-1, aged 16-19 with SEND needs - often with profound and multiple disabilities
• PEG Feeding where appropriate
• Personal Care

What We re Looking For:

• Caring and understanding nature
• Level 2 in health and social care
• Care experience
• PEG feeding experience is desirable
• Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English
