Role Overview

We are recruiting a Collections Strategy Manager to join our Credit Risk, Billing & Collections (BCRC) team. You will work closely with the Senior Collections & Payments Strategy Manager to develop strategies that optimize debt recovery, minimize risks, and reduce costs, while maintaining a customer-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities

1. Collection Strategy Development: Design and implement collection strategies using scorecards and models to optimize performance based on risk profiles and behavioral data.
2. Analysis and MI: Analyze customer data and trends to identify opportunities for improving collection processes, monitoring KPIs such as recovery rates and costs.
3. Reporting: Prepare detailed performance reports for senior management, providing insights and recommendations.
4. Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve collection treatment paths, working with IT and operations to automate and enhance systems.
5. Team Management: Lead and guide collections analysts to improve recovery rates, reduce costs, and enhance customer experience.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Highly numerate with strong data analysis skills
• Proficiency in analytical tools such as SQL, SAS, and Python
• Understanding of credit and collections legal and regulatory issues
• Degree in mathematics, statistics, or related field (desirable)
• Attention to detail and strong communication skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders
