Are you a skilled Collections Specialist looking to rise to a new challenge?

Pepper Advantage is one of the leading loan servicing companies in the UK, and we are currently recruiting for Arrears Specialists to join our dynamic and growing team in Skipton, North Yorkshire.

We are looking for candidates with outstanding customer service skills to handle the servicing of mortgages throughout the complete cycle, deliver workout solutions to customers experiencing payment difficulties, and manage the litigation process in liaison with appointed solicitors.

This is a hybrid role, with three days per week office attendance following a period of office-based training.

As a Collections Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

• Processing mortgage administration activities accurately and promptly
• Communicating regularly with customers facing payment difficulties
• Discussing and negotiating arrears workout options, such as arrangements, capitalisation, loan workouts, shortfall sales, etc.
• Monitoring agreed workout strategies and ensuring compliance, taking further action as per the Special Servicing Manual when necessary
• Analyzing problems, thinking creatively, and making effective decisions in a timely manner
• Having prior exposure to operational loans, preferably in a mortgage context
• Providing outstanding customer service
• Relating effectively to customers and communicating relevant information clearly
• Possessing experience within the Financial Services Industry
• Demonstrating strong English verbal and written communication skills
• Paying great attention to detail and ensuring accuracy in work
• Understanding regulatory requirements and their impact on the business
