Job description

Making and taking calls to and from customers to establish reasons for non-payment.

  • Offering payment solutions to customers in order to restore non-paying customers to good book.
  • Negotiate agreeable repayment terms in accordance with FCA principals of TCF.
  • Quickly identify vulnerable individuals and escalate these cases with our special support team.
  • Quickly identifying cases that require escalation to our Insolvencies team where appropriate knowledge is required.

A confident communicator with strong verbal and written skills, who is confident and resilient, capable of thinking laterally and proactively, persuasive, persistent and self-motivated.

  • Hard-working and collaborative to help the team to achieve team targets.

  • Able to handle each call in the correct manner and the ability to relate to people from a variety of backgrounds.

Technical Requirements

Regulatory Knowledge as applicable to role. Understanding of lease and asset finance. Knowledge of Consumer Credit Act and other regulatory requirements. AML /KYC requirements.

This is a rapidly moving, hectic & multi-tasking environment, where you need to be able to handle high volume calls corresponding with customers in a fast paced and efficient manner. You will need to be solutions driven and have a competitive instinct, resilience in the face of pressure with a "whistle while you work" mentality.
