Job summary

The Coventry Sports Foundation, in collaboration with Culture Coventry, seeks a Facilities and Collections Access Assistant to support moving off-site heritage collections to a new Collections Centre in Coventry.

You will assist with logistics, facilities management, and Health & Safety, supervise volunteers and contractors, and work across CV Life venues at multiple sites. 20 hours per week, fixed term until 25 May 2027.

Qualifications

• Excellent planning and organisational skills.
• Good practical and manual handling abilities.
• Awareness of health and safety in warehouse environments.
• Interest in heritage collections and care of objects.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day running and facilities management of offsite stores.
• Supervise volunteers and contractors ensuring safe practices.
• Assist with moving cultures collections to the new Collections Centre.
• Coordinate equipment needs and PPE with contractors.
• Promote safe access and help implement Health and Safety procedures.
