Job summary

Royal Mail is hiring a Collection Driver in Portsmouth. You will be part of a team delivering and collecting mail across a route, including election materials and items such as food or alcohol, following Royal Mail standards.

You should be upbeat, independent, and comfortable walking outdoors in all weather. A full UK manual driving licence with up to 6 penalty points is required; roles may be full- or part-time depending on hours. Competitive hourly pay and benefits apply.

Responsibilities

• Securely deliver all items on your route including election materials.
• Deliver to post boxes and visit business customers on prearranged times.

• Has a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points, Please note: For candidate search purposes, roles offering between 35-37 hours per week are listed as full-time. However, any role under 37 hours per week will be classified as part-time in the employment contract.

As a Collection Driver, you're expected to securely deliver all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail business standards.
