Royal Mail Group is hiring a Collections and Network Driver for Solihull Delivery Office. This is a fixed-term 12-month contract, 20 hours weekly, mainly 15:00–19:00, across five weekdays.

The role combines walking and occasional driving to collect, sort and deliver mail, with duties spanning box checks, post office visits and routing to processing centres. You will need a full UK manual licence (max 6 points), a positive, team-oriented attitude, and comfort working outdoors in all weather.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence with up to 6 penalty points.
• Upbeat, independent and self-motivated.
• People-person with good interpersonal skills.
• Able to walk long distances and work outdoors in all weather.
• Flexible shift patterns are welcome.

Responsabilités

• Deliver and collect mail on a route, including occasional driving.

Job type: Fixed Term contract 12 months
Hours: 20.00 hours per week, working 5 days across Mon-Fri, working between 15:00 and 19:00. This is mostly an indoor duty with an occasional driving.

Please note:

For candidate search purposes, roles offering between 35-37 hours per week are listed as full-time. However, any role under 37 hours per week will be classified as part-time in the employment contract.

As a Collection Driver, you're expected to securely deliver all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail business standards.
