Job summary

Royal Mail is offering a ParcelForce driver role in Londonderry. This part-time position (16 hours/week) involves delivering parcels, planning routes, and performing vehicle checks with overtime and weekend premiums. The role comes with pension, holidays, and medical cover, plus access to the My Bundle+ benefits platform.

Starting salary is £25,201 a year, rising to £27,561 after six months and up to £30,000 with overtime. A full UK manual driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full manual UK driving licence (Cat B) with up to 6 points.

What you’ll be doing

• - Sorting parcels and planning efficient delivery routes
• - Carrying out essential vehicle safety checks
• - Collecting and delivering parcels to homes and businesses
• - Providing a friendly, dependable service — whether it’s a birthday gift or important business mail

What we’re looking for

• - A full manual UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) registered to your current address, with no more than 6 points
• - Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg
• - Someone who’s friendly, dependable, and customer focused
• - Comfortable working independently but also a great team player
• - Looking for a stable, long-term role in a growing organisation
