Job summary

University of Liverpool is seeking a Collections Access Assistant for the Cultural Heritage team in Libraries, Museums and Galleries. Based in Special Collections and Archives, Sydney Jones Library, you will help researchers, students, staff and the public access unique collections both physically and digitally.

You will respond to enquiries, facilitate access, support reading room activities, teaching and group visits, and deliver reprographics and imaging services.

• Work closely with archivists, librarians and curators; support activities that improve discoverability, accessibility and preservation of collections, including documentation, collection management, digitisation, public engagement, evaluation and service development.

Job description

Hours of work: Full-time - 35 hours per week
