University of Liverpool is seeking a Collections Access Assistant for the Cultural Heritage team in Libraries, Museums and Galleries. Based in Special Collections and Archives, Sydney Jones Library, you will help researchers, students, staff and the public access unique collections both physically and digitally.
You will respond to enquiries, facilitate access, support reading room activities, teaching and group visits, and deliver reprographics and imaging services.
Hours of work: Full-time - 35 hours per week

Based in Special Collections and Archives, in the Sydney Jones Library we are seeking a Collections Access Assistant. You will support researchers, students, staff and members of the public to access our unique collections both physically and digitally. You will respond to enquiries, facilitate access to collection material, support reading room, teaching and group visits, deliver reprographics and imaging services, and contribute to a welcoming and inclusive user experience.
Working closely with archivists, librarians and curators, you will also support activities that improve the discoverability, accessibility and preservation of collections, including documentation, collection management, digitisation, public engagement, evaluation and service development.
