Job summary

apetito UK is seeking staff for its distribution centre in Portbury to join the stock team. The role involves checking incoming goods, stock counts in the freezer, and updating SAP records. A 40-hour week with a Monday to Friday PM shift (1400–2200) applies, with potential overtime if required.

Essential skills include numeracy, GCSE Maths/English, and a careful, detail‑oriented approach. Experience with SAP is advantageous, and driving licence/transport are essential due to location.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment.
• Willingness to utilise SAP or similar stock systems.
• High level of numeracy; able to work accurately with counts and data.
• GCSE Maths and English at grade C or equivalent.
• Demonstrated commitment and stability; good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out stock counts in the Coldstore (-22/25 C).
• Perform general stock checks, audits and variance investigations.
• Update stock information on SAP and ensure records are accurate.
• Check incoming goods and organise returns of damaged items.
• Support with general warehouse duties including picking and loading.
• Help achieve KPIs and maintain health and safety standards.
