Job description

Overview

This position involves working 8 hours per week, on any 1 in 6 days.

Our customers are predominantly elderly and rely on our office teams to take their orders over the phone or via the internet. The goal is to provide excellent service while continuously improving efficiency.

The cold store operates at -20°C, but protective clothing and breaks to warm up and have hot drinks will be provided.

Reporting to the Driver Supervisor and Senior Freezer Operative, you will help pack frozen orders for dispatch accurately and promptly.

£12.60 per hour + bonus + company benefits.

Responsibilities

• Ensure late incoming customer orders are accurately picked and placed in the correct cages for the next day.
• Maintain customer confidentiality.
• Pick orders with zero mistakes.
• Implement and improve efficiencies.
• Assist the office team when needed.
• Report health and safety, stock quality, and mechanical issues.
