Job summary

Wiltshire Farm Foods, part of the apetito group, is the UK’s largest ready-meal supplier, providing frozen meals to elderly customers and healthcare professionals. You will work in a chilled environment delivering accurate order packing for dispatch each morning.

The role involves packing, picking with care, and sometimes assisting the office team to improve efficiencies while reporting issues. Full training and benefits apply.

Responsibilities

• Pack customers' orders that come in later in the day, ensuring they are picked and placed into the correct cage for the next morning.
• Ensure picking accuracy with zero mistakes.
• Assist the office team where appropriate to improve efficiencies.
• Report health and safety, stock quality and mechanical issues.

Overview

Our customers are predominantly elderly and rely upon our office teams to take their orders over the phone or via the internet. T he ultimate goal is to provide a service to our customers that exceeds expectations while at the same time continuously improving efficiencies.

The cold store runs at a chilly -20 degrees centigrade but don’t worry, protective clothing designed to deal with this temperature will be provided along with breaks to warm up and have a hot drink when necessary.

Reporting to the Depot Operations Supervisor, you are responsible for helping to pack customers frozen orders ready for dispatch in a timely and accurate manner.

£13.45 per hour + bonus + company benefits.

• You will be responsible for ensuring customers orders that come in later during the day are accurately picked and placed of the corrisponding cage ready for the next morning.
