Job Title: Cold/Hot Rolling Mill Setter Operator
Location: Redditch, Worcestershire
Salary: £13.50 – £14.50 per hour (DOE)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Overview:
We’re looking for an experienced Rolling Mill Setter Operator to join a precision manufacturing team producing Silver-Copper and Silver-Brass bimetal strip for fuse and switching applications. Using an advanced cold-cladding process, the materials are rolled to thicknesses as low as 75 microns and supplied worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

Set and operate cold/hot rolling mills

Ensure material thickness and quality using precision measuring tools

Monitor and adjust machinery during production

Carry out quality checks and record measurements

Assist with material handling and maintenance tasks

Follow health, safety, and quality procedures

Requirements:

Previous experience with rolling mills

Comfortable working with tight tolerances

Skilled in using micrometres and measuring equipment

Familiar with non-ferrous metals (Silver, Copper, Brass) preferred

Reliable, team-oriented, and safety-focused

£13.50 – £14.50 per hour (depending on experience)

Permanent position with training provided
