Job description

We run a large mobile coffee van at two food markets; Brockley Market on Saturdays, and Victoria Park Market on Sundays. The setup is the same as in our three shops – 3-group La Marzocco Linea PB Volumetric, Mahlkonig E80/E65 grinders, and a Puq Press. 4-5 people work on a shift to make up to 160 coffees an hour, each with a well-extracted espresso and latte art across every milk drink.

We’re looking for someone to set up, clean down and operate the unit at one or both of the aforementioned markets. The weekend days run from around 7am–5pm including setup and closedown, with a deep clean and setup at our unit near Forest Hill on a weekday, usually a Monday or Tuesday.

If any of that sounds of interest, we’re keen to chat –even if you can only do one of the two weekend days. Applicants must be able to easily get to SE23 for 7am at the weekends, even if the trains are down (not uncommon!). So preferably a bike ride or short commute by car or bus.

You must have held a valid UK drivers licence for at least one year, but preferably more, as the van is quite large and it’s imperative that the drivers are responsible, experienced road-users.
